ABOUT US

 is a 501C3 organization founded by Arvis Lawson, The number one youth sports community with a primary focus on community activations along with developing financial literacy programs, sports marketing, health & wellness and photography/filmmaking. Born and raised in South Florida by a single grandmother who passed away while Arvis was 12 years old leaving Arvis to fend for himself on the rough streets of Liberty City. A motivational speaker, community leader and mentor. Mr. Lawson partnered with Miami Dade and Broward County school board to mentor young athletes and students in preparing for life after high school, helping athletes get exposure for college athletics consideration and creating sporting events to acknowledge athletes for their hard work. Since 2018, Mr. Lawson has helped over 55 students receive Division 1 scholarships and other 100 receive college scholarships. Mr. Lawson has traveled across the country to support other programs, in feeding the community, developing food drives, and helping families receive supplies during these recent rough times. 

FANIT FOUNDATION Inc has developed a digital  rewards-based learning program to be utilized in an afterschool/community-based setting by lower performing schools, youth incarceration/re-entry and business to business organizations dealing with youth entrepreneurship and youth athletic programs/organizations. The FANIT ACADEMY system will provide a wide variety of cultural enrichment, pro-social emotional and behavior modification services to help improve students’ success within the classroom and the community. The courses created within the FANIT ACADEMY system will be Through Our Eyes, a photography/filmmaking/digital content program, a youth entrepreneurship financial literacy program and a sports marketing program. The FANIT ACADEMY system will incorporate services from partnered community-based organizations assisting with microeconomics, macroeconomics, sports marketing, reading, taxes, life insurance, math, science and technology, mediation and behavior modification, grief and trauma support, hygiene, and self-care, journalizing and storytelling (including phonics, spelling, writing, creative thinking, and creative writing, mentorship, and financial literacy). This program will further provide creative, engaging, and educational programming designed to both support and extend the academic and personal enrichment of 150 participating students within the inner-city area.

FANIT’s goal is to create multiple FANIT House’s throughout the United States. The FANIT House

which will be a center for our FANIT kids and families. Members would be able to walk into a FANIT

House center and receive resources.

FANIT is present at all major youth sport events, school practices, and a yearly partnership with Miami Dade County on the MDCHBCU Combine. FANIT also has close relationships with youth incarcerated organizations and does speaking visits to youth incarcerated facilities. The FANIT team will utilize youth data and demographic information to ensure the targeted group displays the characteristics identified in the needs assessment. High quality instructional practices offer hands-on project-based learning, using best instructional practices for high-interest learning activities that are meaningful and relevant, keeping the youth engaged. The wide array of partnerships adds exciting variety to enrichment learning. Homework Support offers students time to complete assigned homework daily with tutorial support from a certified teacher and/or enrichment instructor, encouraging participation and increasing opportunities for students’ overall school success. This strong academic support combined with fun, relevant learning experiences, and field trips keep the youth engaged and happy. Additionally, a well-organized structure, prepared programming, family events, father/daughter dances, sports watch party events, keep parental interest high so that parents ensure youth attend regularly.
